The innovative Edinburgh Seaside Gin from Scotland was intended as a limited edition from the manufacturer Edinburgh Gin Distillery.
The manufacturer has already gained an excellent reputation with several seasonal special editions.
Alex Nico, co-founder of the brand, wanted to launch a particularly Scottish gin on the market just in time for the summer.
The botanicals for flavouring the distillate were therefore mainly harvested near the coast around the city of Edinburgh.
The Edinburgh Seaside Gin with a maritime character was designed by Master Distiller David Wilkinson together with four students with a Master's degree in Brewing and Distilling to give it a flair like beach parties.
Tasting notes:
Color: Clear.
Nose: Impressive, herbal, floral.
Taste: Sweetish, notes of seaweed, hints of spoonbill, ivy.
Finish: Long lasting.
