The Macallan Concept No. 3 Limited Edition is part of an annual Limited Release which will be released for the first time in 2018. Through a targeted interruption of the production process, the visionaries are able to positively influence the process and bring in new innovative ideas and create new perspectives.
In addition to former sherry barrels, the wine is also stored in former Bourbon barrels. The first Macallan to undergo double storage.
The design of the gift box and bottle label was inspired by surrealism and created by the French artist Albert Simone. You can see the "six pillars" by Macallan.
Nose: sweetish, butterscotch, toffee, almonds, cinnamon, dried fruit, green bananas.
Taste: Sweet, orange, lime, spices, fresh fruit, ginger.
Finish: Long lasting, citrus, ginger.
