A very bright and pure cassis bouquet. This is quite a fruit bomb, but with a tangy wine-gum acidity. The tannins are not as refined as its stablemates (Clerc Milon and Mouton) but, perversely, it is the slightly chewy character of these tannins that give the wine bite and round it out into a balanced, generous, sunshine-filled wine. Drink 2024-2038.
Blend: 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot
