Chacra Mainqué Chardonnay 2018
An enormously fine Chardonnay, located somewhere between California and Burgundy, is no wonder, because the wine maker is Jean-Marc Roulot from the famous Domaine Roulot from Meursault. Buttercup, alpine butter, but so incredibly elegant, because a fine lime is added and brings an almost sublime freshness. If you let your nose go deep into the wine, very gentle herbs are added. Very fine, almost exquisite, very careful, sage, mint, eucalyptus, tarragon. Delicately chiseled acidity in the mouth, wonderfully creamy and sooo fresh. The acid carries from the tip of the tongue to the reverberation, which is really enormous. Apple freshness meets alpine butter meets limestone. Insanely harmoniously fresh. It's really big here.
