The former Global Brand Ambassador of Martini, Giuseppe Gallo, announces the Italicus already in September 2016. For a long time he was looking for the right combination and composition for the liqueur. Together with a small family distillery, he finally found the right recipe. In a process called 'sfumatura', the essential oils of bergamot and cedar are dissolved and mixed with the grain alcohol produced in Italy. Roman chamomile, lavender, gentian, yellow roses and lemon balm are macerated and added to the mixture.Tasting notes:Color: Clear. Nose: Floral, citrus aromas, bergamot, lavender.
