The J.Wray Gold Jamaica Rum is the successor of the Appleton Special Gold Rum and is with 40% alcohol a medium strong and golden coloured rum.
This other good rum from Appleton is a perfect combination of strong pot still and lighter column still rums.
The maturation takes place in oak barrels. An unmistakably soft and mild character, which is completely in line with the Jamaican way of life. The special feature of this Appleton Rum is that it is blended by hand.
Nose: Nutty, slightly sweetish.
Taste: Exotically fresh, notes of macadamia and Brazil nuts, hints of cabbage smoke.
