Kuro Kirishima Sweet Potato Shochu was the first shochu made by the founder of Kirishima Brewery in 1916. The name "Kuro" means black and comes from the fact that a black rice koji is used for the Kuro Kirishima Shochu. The combination of this black rice koji as well as the sweet potatoes gives this Japanese liquor a smooth aroma with a pleasant sweetness. Tasting notes:Color: Clear, Nose: Light, fresh, acidic.
