The Mortlach Alexander's Way is designed to bring the dark side of Speyside to life and enchant travellers with the mystery of Scotch Whisky.
The number 2.81 on the label stands for the number of distillations. Mortlach manages to distil his whisky 2.81 times.
The process is also called "The Way" by Mortlach and starts with a distillation process in which six different stills are used and 1/5 of them are distilled a third time by another small still called "Wee Witchie".
