Because it takes about eight years until the agaves are ripe before they are harvested and you need about eight kilograms of agaves for a liter of Ocho Tequila.
Tequila Ocho Reposado is made from 100% blue agave and matures for 8 weeks and 8 days in former American whiskey barrels.
Nose: Spicy aromas, strawberries, notes of citrus.
Taste: Spicy, bitter notes, citrus.
Finish: Long lasting.
